My wife and I had a great time last night at the first Oskar Blues New Years Eve party here in Brevard, NC. If you don’t know who Oskar Blues is, they’re a beer brewer out of Colorado. Their new location here in Brevard is their first brewery they’ve established outside of Colorado. So we feel very fortunate to have a great company adding to our local economy.
The event began at 6 PM and included some local eateries providing nourishment plus 3 bands to handle the entertainment. We arrived around 6:30 PM and the crowd was just beginning to arrive.
The entertainment included 3 great bands, The Foxfire, Pisgah Pickers with Jeff Sipe, and a rare reunion of famed rock band Jupiter Coyote.
We stayed for the first two bands and headed to a friends house to finish our New Years Eve celebration. Here a few photos I took with my Ricoh GXR-M with Leica Summicron 35mm lens kit:
