A quick grab shot today as I’m home and this is where I walk the dog every day. This image was edited with Lightroom and one of the features of LR that I used in the black and white conversion is the “Selective Color” tool which is part of the HSL/Color/B&W editing brick.
After selecting the tool I used it to darken the sky around the clouds. Whatever location on the photo you select with the tool the corresponding color it will affect is highlighted in the develop panel. You either move the slider in the panel or on my MacBook Pro I use both my fingers on the track pad and drag up or down to lighten or darken that part of the photo.
