The Traveling Blues

My last day of work and I’m trying to get home from Chicago Midway Airport.  Its February and that means cold nasty weather around the “Windy” City.  Of course the cold nasty stuff had to happen all work week.  Even in Florida where my week started, I had a sweater on and I never took my long johns off all week!

Then I show up at the Midway Airport to catch my Delta flight and I run into these two characters.  The Blues Brothers!  Apropos for the day!  Dude you’re flight is delayed, might as well sit back and relax.

When the boarding call was announced you can just imagine these two singing and jumping doing their crazy routine.

But then the captain announces another challenge we must overcome: de-icing.  And that my friends was the icing on the cake.  I would now miss my flight home out of Atlanta.
