The Staff | Leica M-E, Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 pre-ASPH
My son and I are participating in the Toe River Klondike Boy Scout competition this weekend on Grandfather Mountain near Linville, North Carolina.
The sun was just rising and was able to gather a few of the staff for a quick photo with Grandfather Mountain’s peak in the background.
As you can see the morning is crisp and cool with the temps near 40 degrees F.

Morning Don! I always appreciate your input and advice. It means a lot to me. Been a great weekend here in the mountains as we wake this Sunday morning to a 25 degree wind chill. The coffee is on and us adults are preparing a hot breakfast for our scouts as they worked their butts off yesterday competing.
