The main reason why I photograph with a Leica camera:
“I want simplification, not amplification or complication…I just want light controls … because photography is about light.” – Thorsten Overgaard
“A camera that gives me the joy of ownership and the joy of shooting is much more important than one with the highest number of megapixels or highest ISO performance.” – Yukio Uchida
“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” ― Ansel Adams
“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson
Beautiful series, Duane! The Phoenix looks like a cozy place with nice live music.

Hi Robert. It’s an interesting place. Good food. (They do their best to buy the ingredients from local farms). Three out of the four main players of The Wed night jazz main are local college professors. Bill Berg the drummer not pictured, in this series, has quite the background too: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Berg_(musician).
The other players in the series are music students from the college that show up and given a chance to jam.
Cameron Austin the bass player also owns our local climbing rock gym where my two boys attend.
