Geneva, Switzerland – In Color – Duane Pandorf Photography

I’m enjoying a wonderful couple days in Geneva, Switzerland. This is not my first time here but finally a chance to have a some time in the city to photograph. The original plan was to be in Scion, Switzerland but due to a low cloud deck and the unique airport operations there we had to divert to here. If I had a complaint it would be that I was looking forward to seeing some mountains and the beautiful hotel we were scheduled to stay in if we had made it to Scion.

But one can’t complain too much. We’re staying in a nice hotel in the city center. Like I said can’t complain too much as I could be stuck out at one of the Geneva Airport Hotels.

Yesterday getting here was a very long day. We departed Las Vegas a little late, not departing until almost 7pm Las Vegas time. Ten plus hours later we landed here in Geneva and did not get to our hotel until after 5pm Geneva time. However, I was not going to let an opportunity to photograph pass me by and I quickly changed, showered and grabbed my gear and hit the streets.

The first photograph is becoming one of my standard images as I have been shooting a pic from inside whatever I’m riding in getting to or from the airport. In this case, this is a taxi that took us to our hotel.
