The main reason why I photograph with a Leica camera:

“I want simplification, not amplification or complication…I just want light controls … because photography is about light.” – Thorsten Overgaard

“A camera that gives me the joy of ownership and the joy of shooting is much more important than one with the highest number of megapixels or highest ISO performance.” – Yukio Uchida

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” ― Ansel Adams

“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Matt Dingledine

Finally had a chance to finish processing my photographs from this past Wednesday night (July 16) at The Phoenix.  Wednesday nights is jazz night and Jason DeCristofaro (vibes player) coordinates the weekly events.

This week I had a chance to hear Matt Dingledine play guitar.  He’s currently the Greenville Jazz Collective Director out of Greenville, South Carolina.

Along with Matt and Jason were Zach Page on bass and Micah Thomas on drums.  After they finished playing the first set, Jason always opens the floor to others that would like to join in.

Following are the other photographs I captured that may give you an idea what a great time everyone was having.
