The main reason why I photograph with a Leica camera:

“I want simplification, not amplification or complication…I just want light controls … because photography is about light.” – Thorsten Overgaard

“A camera that gives me the joy of ownership and the joy of shooting is much more important than one with the highest number of megapixels or highest ISO performance.” – Yukio Uchida

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” ― Ansel Adams

“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Wally Byam’s Trailer @ the Airstream Factory

This is “Wally” Byam’s gold anodized trailer that he traveled in during the 1950s along with his wife Stella. “Wally” is the founder of Airstream. One of his major excurrsions with this trailer was the 14,000 mile trek from Capetown to Cairo in 1959.

Ok, I decided to have a little fun today with my post processing. I used one of Trey Ratcliff’s Lightroom presets in the first photo and one of John G Moore’s preset in the second photo.

Sometimes it makes me feel good to pump up the colors to live life a little on edge so to speak.

Love the photos. I have been following your blog for a while and have wondered how much post processing you normally do. Are you willing to share?
