For my walk yesterday I strolled into town to run a couple errands thought I’d share a couple photos I made. As I was about to cross the main intersection in town I made the photo above of our courthouse. Prior to getting to the main intersection I wanted to capture the life sized toy soldiers that “guard” O.P. Taylor’s toy store.
I had already walked a 1.5 miles and hadn’t had lunch yet. I decided to drop into Jaime’s Creole Brasserie for bite to eat. Since it was already close to 2PM I was able to get a table next to the window for a great people watching view.
I don’t have any trouble deciding on what to eat here as my favorite dish that I haven’t tired of yet is their Crawfish & Bacon Mac & Cheese dish. Not sure if I wanted to continue my walk after eating, I was able to coerce my special lady, who had other engagements earlier, to join me for our favorite desert: Banana Foster and a cup of coffee.
