I try to get a window seat when I’m “riding” on the airline as I always have a window when I’m up front “driving”. I was able to snag an exit row seat on the window on my flight from Los Angeles to Dallas. This row of seats in this aircraft was configured without a seat in front of mine. I had an incredible amount of leg room.
My second leg, Dallas to Dayton, I was fortunate to get an upgrade to Business Class and again got a window seat. I had my window shade pulled down most of the flight to get some shut eye. When I happened to open it and saw the warm light rush in I quickly realized I was about to miss a sunset.
I immediately reached into my carry-on bag and grabbed my camera to get this photograph.
