Started the morning looking out my hotel window at a dreary view. I hadn’t paid much attention the night before as to what the weather was going to be, then again, I was in eastern NY and it’s January. What else should one expect.

Once out at the airport the moisture began to fall. Except it was a little bit of the white stuff with occasional light ice pellets mixed in. Fortunately, the temperature stayed just above freezing and the weather did not affect our morning departure to Miami.

On our approach to Miami International, the inner harbor was full of boating action. Plus the water color was beautiful.

We made a quick stop in Miami and then it was off to our final destination of the day, New Orleans. By the time we arrived the sun was quickly setting and the view of gulf south of the New Orleans shoreline was amazing.
