I’m talking to you! | Leica M-E, Leica Summilux-M 35mm
I only had one day to shoot while in Buenos Aires but could have easily spent a week there. The people and architecture are wonderful. Plus the weather at this time of year is perfect. Unfortunately, I only had the day. I walked over 4 hours in the area of the hotel I was staying which was near the Monumento del Libertador José de San Martín. My walk took me down Florida Ave to the Plaza de Mayo and further south via Defensa Ave to an older section of the city.

On a side note, I enjoy participating in a couple online photography forums and I find it interesting how much time other photographers worry about what camera and especially what lenses to take with them while traveling. In the past I too have thought it important to have as many focal lengths covered just in case. But what I’ve found is that you end up being too engrossed in worrying if I have the right lens on the camera rather than enjoying the view along the way.
I’ve found I enjoy taking just my Leica Summilux-M 35mm lens while traveling. It stays attached to my camera 99% of the time now as I find this focal length for most of my work.
