The main reason why I photograph with a Leica camera:

“I want simplification, not amplification or complication…I just want light controls … because photography is about light.” – Thorsten Overgaard

“A camera that gives me the joy of ownership and the joy of shooting is much more important than one with the highest number of megapixels or highest ISO performance.” – Yukio Uchida

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” ― Ansel Adams

“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Golden Retriever | Ricoh GXR, Leica Summicron 35mm v2

I took this photograph today after landing in Aspen, Colorado. As we came through Atlantic Aviation’s facility this beautiful girl was lounging on the chair. She didn’t want to pose for me but I couldn’t resist taking at least one picture.

I edited the above photograph in Adobe Lightroom. The learning curve is coming along and I’m having fun learning the program. I’ve been very excited at what I’ve see so far in the files I’ve processed.

  1. Awww… look at those eyes! Great image!

    1. As a “Kat” lover I wouldn’t think a dog photo would be of interest! But I’m glad you stopped by.

      1. I love all pets, they bring so much joy to us :))))

        1. I hope you know I was just kidding about maybe you were not a dog lover since you like cats!

          1. Of course I do 😀 I just always have a soft spot for cats.
