I just finished a 2 day waterfall workshop sponsored by our local Bluewood Gallery owned by Hal Looney and hosted by Ken Voltz.
The widest lens in my bag is the Leica Summilux-M 35mm and for this workshop I decided to rent the Leica Elmar-M 24mm f/3.8 ASPH from Lensrentals. The Leica 24mm Elmar is a compact lens and provides superb optics for wide angle photography. I did not rent the 24mm external viewfinder and decided to wing it as the Leica M-E’s widest frameline in the rangefinder is for a 28mm lens.
I happen to live in “waterfall heaven” as we have at least 300 waterfalls here in Transylvania County. Over the two days we got a chance to shoot several. The weather remained overcast which was perfect and the autumn leaves are here too.
I’ve attached a couple more of my keepers from the two days below.
