SOME OF MY FAVORITE QUOTES

The main reason why I photograph with a Leica camera:

“I want simplification, not amplification or complication…I just want light controls … because photography is about light.” – Thorsten Overgaard

“A camera that gives me the joy of ownership and the joy of shooting is much more important than one with the highest number of megapixels or highest ISO performance.” – Yukio Uchida

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.” ― Ansel Adams

“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Boarding – LaGuardia Airport

Unfortunately I see this scene all too often as I go to work and return home.  Of course one of the benefits to frequent travel with one or two of the same airlines through the year is you get to board first and have room to put your carry on luggage in the overhead compartment.  You also have a chance to pick a decent seat in the exit row that has a little more leg room.

  2. Thanks acuriousgal. I made this photograph yesterday morning while boarding in LaGuardia. However, I didn’t get home until after 9pm last night. The airlines are still trying to catch up after the major weather we had this past week.
