My son Karl and I hiked from the beginning of the Bracken Mountain trail all the way to Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education. The hike was almost nine miles and took us about 3.5 hours to complete.

The autumn leaves are beginning to change and I’m afraid the best color will happen while I’m away this next week at work.

Part of this hike was to use my new Clik Elite Probody Sport – CS backpack and Sirui T-2205X tripod with Sirui G-20X ball head.

The Clik Elite backpack is perfect for my Leica M system and lenses and the Sirui tripod/ball head is saving my over 3 pounds in weight compared to my Manfrotto aluminum tripod.
