It’s been some time since I’ve blogged. To help motivate me to post more of my work, I’d like to share these photographs I made a year ago June. I’ve been working on past images in my Lightroom catalog and seeing these photographs I made of this famous photographer’s work has inspired me to share more of my photography.
While on a work trip last June, I had a layover in LA and happened to be booked in the famous “the Beverly Hills Hilton”. I decided to use Uber to take me from the hotel over to the Leica Los Angeles Gallery. I arrived late in the afternoon and found the Henri Cartier-Bresson gallery still being prepared for the grand opening the next evening. James Agnew, the general manager, graciously allowed me to the upstairs gallery area to photograph the presentation.
I also wanted to post this work in light of all that’s been happening around our country and the world. The Los Angeles Leica store was one of three Leica stores that have been vandalized and looted in the past month.
